Significance :

In chikkasangama two rivers Krishna and ghataprabha are merged. Due to confluence of two huge river it creates extensive look in chikkasangama. God shiva is worshipped here in the form of shri sangameshwara. In kannada “kudal” and “Sangama” Both represent merging. The place is Symmetry of attractive environment and Devotion.

People visit to worship sangamanatha and to enjoy tremendous nature with greenery in bank of river Krishna and ghataprabha. It is ideal place for family picnic. The silent environment away from traffic will defiantly giving excitement to the visitors. 

How to reach :

Take right turn at national highway 52 or SH 124 near badagandi near bilagi cross.

Bus and private vehicles are also available from banglore, hubli and bagalkot till badagandi or bilagi cross.
