Bnashankari Temple, Badami
Bnashankari temple one of the ancient temples in karnataka, banashankari is considered as the incarnation of goddess parvati. Previously it was in deep forest and family deity for chalukyas. Chalukyas build this temple in early 7th century. Achutaraya of vijayanagar renovated it later, so we can find both chalukya and vijayanagar style of sculpture around temple.
Banashankari fair is very famous in north karnataka, after banada hunnime(normally in month of february) fair will begin which runs for a month. Devotees from karnataka and maharastra will attend fair in large number.
